From a spectator point of view, we hated that qualifying. Stop start stop start 😡 You have made it as boring as F1 now. Go back to the 25 min shoot out session please. Was looking forward to this for months and it was completely ruined.

For me as a Man United fan, 1999 was special for obvious reasons, but not as special as 1996 was. Hosting Euro '96 here, that summer it was like I was on holiday or something even though I was just here in England where I had always been every summer of my life. I was 19 years old at the time. All I can remember is *everyone* talking about football the whole time, even people that weren't into football got caught up in it, every car with an England flag poking out of both front windows. Old Trafford, St James Park, Villa Park and of course Wembley. England hammering Netherlands 4-1. The goal Gazza scored against Scotland. I will never forget it for the rest of my life.

As a United fan, I'm gonna stand by United here and say that we did just enough. I've seen enough big teams fall and go through sloppy stages, particularly in FA Cup matches. Actually he wasn't offside. Although his foot might have been fractionaly offside no 29's body made him onside. The line on the ground perhaps but the line in the air not offside. So another wrong decison with VAR decision favouring Man U. Of course we also know it is unfair to use VAR with teams who do not have VAR.
